... is that most of 'em are worthless.
1. Shadows of Amber seems to crash every year or two and all of the old posts go away.
2. Diceless by Design doesn't have one.
3. The "official" one is run by a guy who hates everyone who doesn't like his style of play, and most of the guys who hang out there don't like his style of play.
Any chance we could get some intelligent chat here, without all of the baggage that goes with the "official" one?

Hard to say. There only appear to be a couple of guys who post here, and not at all regularly. I can try to check this place more often, but if it's only two or three of us.....

Well, it's probably not my place to comment on the content of the other boards, but I'd sure like to see more discussion here. When I search the internet there used to be many places where one could chat about Amber (the GoO forum used to be big, there was a gaming group in Alaska that had a great forum, Shadows of Amber was even better before they had a crash and lost a lot of their material) but now it's really hard to find any discussion at all.
I hope this isn't a sign that Amber is dying as a franchise, but I suspect that folks are moving on. There are many variants of diceless gaming out there and lots of players prefer Nobilis, Everway, Theatrix, or other systems to ADRP. A shame, really.

Ok, well I'm contributing to an old thread here, but it's been a very very long time since I've even seen an Amber board to contribute to .... and I still have all of my old materials from 1993 onwards to contribute. Let's see if I can generate a little bit of interest.....

I just found Shadows of Amber forum, but i havent been active in other forums besides the one with the Guy with Kills Fascists. I have been active on the ''purple one'' before i started to get annoyed at their censorship. Still, i post in the more interesting threads i see. I plan on beeing more active in the forums in general thou, i have a job now but the free time is more valuable, meaning i want to do more with it:)
