While watching the old TV show Dark Angel (with Jessica Alba as Max) it occured to me that DA would be great as a RPG run using the ADRP rules.
1. There are a group of super-beings, in this case genetically enhanced humans, interacting with mundanes. This reminds me a lot of the Amberites and Shadowlings interaction.
2. They have big fight scenes, which look like they would be excellent Strength contests. There are some characters who are "into" firearms (Warfare) while others are not.
3. There are different variations of enhancement. Max has feline DNA in her, which gives her night vision and super dexterity. Another character has canine DNA which gives him great smell and more strength. Although not in the series so far (I'm not done yet) I can imagine a variant where some sort of mental powers relevant to Psyche.
Anyone else watch this show? Any thoughts on this?

Could be Amber-like, but I'm not so much into the show. I saw a few episodes and it was okay but kind of soap-opera, IMO.

I have watched the whole show, and i am a fan to this day, it was great. The stakes were not too big(until the last season) and i liked how it presented the vibe of the world, dystopian but changing. It had a Shadowrun feel for me when i did not really know what shadowrun was. Can it be considered Amber material? I believe aspects of it could be, much scifi has some ideas to mine that can easily work in Amber rpg. Can it be run with Ambers rules? Yes, the rules are narrative, i am sure you could do that. Its hard finding players for properties that are not ''new'' thou. Just my 2 cents.
