Okay, so I know that these books are shelved in the "teen" fiction area, but my wife and I went to see City of Bones last weekend and throughtout the whole movie I kept thinking "this would be awesome if run using ADRP."
Although it is set in a modern world, I didn't see much use of firearms but instead a focus on daggers and the like. The overall conflicts seemed to fit well with ADRP's four main attributes.
The main characters are Shadowhunters, which actually means demon hunters. The world has vampires and werewolves and demons and fae and warlocks, so there would be lots of character options.
One type of magic used is some sort of "rune magic" where they can inscribe runes on themselves to gain special powers like strength or speed or better vision. This seems like it would fit nice with ADRP's character point building system.
Anyone see this movie? Or read the books?

As a second note, I ended up buying the "prequel" trilogy which backs up to the 1880's or so in England. There is also an element of mechanical stuff here, with "clockwork" creatures.
1) Clockwork Angel 2) Clockwork Prince 3) Clockwork Princess
